Dyaisha Fair Approaches Syracuse Orange Scoring Record

Orange Guard Tears Up as She Nears Milestone

Dyaisha Fair, the star guard for the Syracuse Orange women's basketball team, is just 100 points away from surpassing Brittney Griner for fourth all-time in scoring in women's basketball history. Fair, who was born on August 7, 2001, to Shatara Fair and Terrance Pradia, has been a force for the Orange throughout her career and is now poised to make history.

Fair's Journey to the Top

Fair has been a standout player since her days at Garfield High School in Akron, Ohio. She led the Golden Rams to three state championships and was named Ohio's Miss Basketball in 2020. Fair committed to Syracuse University and has continued to excel at the collegiate level.

In her four years with the Orange, Fair has averaged over 18 points per game and has led the team to two NCAA Tournament appearances. She has earned numerous accolades, including ACC Player of the Year and All-American honors.

Chasing History

Fair's pursuit of the scoring record has been a highly anticipated storyline throughout the season. With each point she scores, she brings herself closer to making history. The Orange have just five games remaining in the regular season, and Fair will need to average over 20 points per game to reach the milestone.

If Fair can achieve the record, it will be a testament to her incredible talent and hard work. It will also be a historic moment for the Syracuse Orange women's basketball program.
